SPE provide the security solutions most appropriate to our clients’ needs. We apply the same stringent measures to the security of the data we hold – be it on behalf of our clients or, indeed, our own corporate data. All personal data – as defined in the legislation – are processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 as amended. Part of our compliance with this law is the registration of the purposes for which we process data with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) – the “Notification”. This Notification is available on the Public Register of Data Controllers at ico.org.uk

Data are only shared with third parties as part of our contracted services and/or if we are required to do so by UK law. This may include, but is not restricted to, data collected and/or processed on behalf of clients. We cannot accept liability for any processing conducted by third parties outside our remit.

This policy also covers the use of images from CCTV where we carry out monitoring services on behalf of a client, but do not record or process the data in any other way.

We utilise cookies to improve our site for all visitors and make it easily accessible. We use Google Analytics and other tracking cookies for these purposes and are as unobtrusive into your privacy as possible. If you opt out of allowing all cookies, then sections of our website may not function fully for you.

None of the above affects your rights to request access to any of your personal data we may hold. Should you wish to make such a request under the legislation, please do so in writing – email is acceptable. Please note that we may charge a £10 administration fee for requests which is payable in advance and non-refundable.
